Choose a photo before issuing a player card
Where to find the optional card-photo control, how its default works and how to review the resulting player collection.
Open the issuing workflow
Go to Players → Awards and open the award presentation you are managing. For Team of the Week, Month or Season, open Create award → Club selections where permitted, choose the season and period, then complete the player selection. Players → Cards is where you review received cards.
Find Card photo (optional)
For a manager-selected award, select the recipient first. The photo panel appears beside the issuing controls for eligible player cards. In Club selections it lists the selected players. Check every displayed player name; photos are attached to those new cards.
Choose a new photo or the default
Attach new photo selects a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB. Check the preview and use Change photo if needed. Use profile photo removes your selection. If you do not attach anything, NEXTXI uses the player’s current profile photo, not the photo from their last card.
Check nominees and missing photos
For voting or automatic rounds that offer the panel, prepare photos for the relevant nominees; only winning players receive cards. If No profile photo available is shown, attach a new photo or update the default first through Players → Player Access → Card portrait. An invalid file must be changed or removed before issuing.
Issue and wait for confirmation
Use the award’s finalise or issue action, or Publish the selected number of player cards in Club selections. Wait while the photos upload and cards are created. The optional photo belongs to this issuance: it does not change the player profile or the photos already attached to earlier received cards.
Check the received card
Open Players → Cards, select the player and open Cards. Check the new card’s photo alongside the earlier cards. Use its Download or more-actions menu when you need a copy or the available sharing actions.
Checks that prevent common mistakes
- To change the default for future cards, use Player Access → Card portrait; to change only this new card, use the issuing photo picker.
- Complete photo selection before issuing. The picker is not an editor for a card that has already been received.
- Club-wide selections and award actions are shown only when your account has the required access.
