Link player and parent accounts
How to connect an existing squad record to a player or parent account while preserving the player's permanent Passport.
Open Player Access
From Players, choose Player Access and find the registered player. Confirm the name and team before generating access.
Choose the relationship
Select Player for the footballer or Parent for a parent or guardian. The relationship controls which records the linked account can see.
Generate the code
Create a fresh one-time join code. A child does not need an email address on the club record; their account credentials are created during sign-up.
Claim the code
The recipient opens Join an existing club on web or mobile, signs in or creates an account, and enters the code. The app links to the existing player instead of creating a second player.
Confirm the link
Refresh Player Access and check that the account is shown as linked. Revoke unused codes and create a new one if a code was shared with the wrong person.
Checks that prevent common mistakes
- Send codes privately, not in a public team chat.
- Parents and players need separate accounts when both require access.
- Use transfer codes only for an authorised club transfer—not ordinary account linking.
