Create a fundraising campaign and QR code
How to define the goal, allocate funds, publish a giving page and create campaign or player-attributed QR codes.
Create the campaign
Open Fundraising, then Campaigns. Add a specific title, explanation, target, opening and closing dates and an appropriate public image.
Set fund allocation
Explain where contributions will go and make sure the percentages total exactly 100%. Keep allocations factual and understandable to supporters.
Choose public settings
Decide whether supporter names and contribution amounts can appear, whether anonymous support is allowed and whether the campaign is linked to a player, team, fixture or event.
Publish and test
Publish the campaign, open its public page on a signed-out device and check the amount choices, GBP symbol, form fields and club details.
Create the QR code
Open QR Codes and generate the campaign or player-specific code. Download a high-resolution version and test it before printing.
Track and close
Monitor verified contributions and allocation totals. At the end, close the campaign and retain the transaction and supporter audit.
Checks that prevent common mistakes
- Never promise prizes, betting, raffles or chance-based rewards.
- Use the public URL behind the QR rather than taking a screenshot of checkout.
- Only display a supporter's name or amount when they opted in.
