Respond to matches, training and events

Help your club plan scheduled matches, training sessions and events with saved availability replies, clear participant choices and a separate attendance register.

For Club admins and Managers and coaches
01

Open the scheduled activity

On the web, players and parents open Schedule in their member portal. Staff open the fixture, training session or club event; the club calendar also opens the activity details. On mobile, open the activity from Schedule or its match, training or event details. Check the team, date and time.

02

Choose who is responding

Open Your response. Staff can reply for themselves, and eligible player accounts and linked parents can reply for the listed player. If more than one linked player can attend, check each name and reply separately. Your access determines which participants appear.

03

Save an honest response

Choose Going, Maybe or Not going. Wait for the saved response to appear. If an error appears, refresh the response panel to check the latest saved reply, then try again if needed. No reply is different from Not going.

04

Update a reply when plans change

Reopen the same activity and select the new response while replies remain open. The latest saved reply replaces the previous choice for that person. Linked parents and the player share the same player response; changing devices does not create another place.

05

Review replies before planning

Authorised club administrators and team staff can review the Going, Maybe and Not going totals and the participant list in the response panel. Use these replies to plan the session or selection. Other families' replies are not shown to ordinary player or parent accounts.

06

Complete the separate jobs

Record actual attendance in the register at the activity. Match selection, transport and fees keep their own workflows. For a paid club event, use its ticket booking and payment controls as well: an availability reply alone does not purchase or cancel a ticket, confirm payment or reserve a place.

Good practice

Checks that prevent common mistakes

  • Reply separately for each eligible child; a parent's own response does not stand in for a player's reply.
  • Refresh the activity if a reply was changed on another device or by another linked parent.
  • If no response option is available, check the activity's status and ask your club to check your current team or player link.
